Inspired by Nature 2020

leaf print art work

We are pleased to announce that we have again received a grant from the Arts Council to support Inspired by Nature, a stage 2 visual arts enrichment program. You are invited to nominate up to four Stage 2 students that demonstrate a talent or interest in visual arts (please note students that participated last year cannot attend again this year).

Schools can participate in one of the following dates:

  • Wednesday 29 April
  • Wednesday 24 June
  • Wednesday 22 July
  • Tuesday 15 September

Students investigate artists such as Andy Goldsworthy and John Wolseley. They explore on a bushwalk to gain a rich source of ideas to create artworks and an appreciation of art. They experiment with and learn how to use different techniques associated with natural forms ending in both group and individually created artworks.

Venue: Royal National Park Environmental Education Centre
Date: 29 April, 24 June, 22 July OR 15 September
Times: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Cost: $15 per student.
Teachers are welcome but not required to attend. Please consider this an opportunity for Teacher Identified Professional Learning, and take some new skills and inspiration back to school. Schools or parents/carers must organise transport to and from the venue.
