  • Consider human activities and their impact on the ecosystem
  • Measure and record abiotic factors
  • Record flora and fauna observed during fieldwork and identify introduced species
  • Observe evidence of cycles in the ecosystem
  • Complete food chains relevant to the ecosystem
  • Consider ways that the Dharawal people sustainably managed the ecosystem
  • Observe animals as relevant to the ecosystem, e.g., bird watching, dipnetting for macroinvertebrates, invertebrate search, crab search
