2024 Fieldwork excursion costs
Department of Education schools
- 1-3 groups (max 30 students per class): $12 per student (GST free)
- additional classes (max 30 students per class): $590 per class (GST free)
For example:
3 classes
- max 90 students: $12 per student
4 classes
- 120 students: ($12 x 90 students) + ($590 x 1 additional class) = $1670 total; approximately $14 per student
5 classes
- 150 students: ($12 x 90 students) + ($590 x 2 additional classes) = $2260 total; approximately $15 per student
We will send your school an interschool journal after the excursion. Fees are GST free. Please see the note below regarding the additional GST inclusive National Park entry fee.
Non-government schools
- $680 per class (GST free); max 30 students per class
National Park entry fee
- $1.10 per student (GST inclusive)
This fee is payable for excursions that take place in the Royal National Park. The National Parks and Wildlife Service will invoice you separately after the excursion. You do not pay this entry fee if you come to the park by public transport.
In-school incursion costs
Department of Education schools
- $8 per student (GST free) for incursion programs other than Bush Christmas, Easter Bilby and Gifts from the Bush
- $15 per student (GST free) for Bush Christmas, Easter Bilby and Gifts from the Bush
Non-government schools
