Getting here

Bola Creek is located approximately 5km from the McKell Avenue, Waterfall entry of the Royal National Park. Via bus, it takes approximately 15 minutes to drive to Bola Creek from the Waterfall turnoff at McKell Avenue:

  • enter the Royal National Park at McKell Ave, Waterfall.
  • after approximately 4.5km you will reach a T-intersection with Lady Wakehurst and Sir Bertram Stevens Drives. Turn left towards Bundeena.
  • continue for approximately 0.5 km until you reach the parking area at the southern end of Lady Carrington Drive.
  • disembark students at the carpark.

There is bus parking available.

Bushwalk The walk starts from the car park, following Lady Carrington Drive (fire trail) and into the rainforest walking track and/or the picnic area. The total distance is approximately 1 km (uneven, sloping, rocky path in places). Some excursions will walk an additional 800m along the lower Wallumarra Track.

Public toilets are available near the EEC, at Audley (adjacent to the Visitors Centre) and at Veno Street Reserve, Heathcote (corner of Veno St and Princes Highway).
