Earth's natural systems

Stage 6 Geography

A dense rainforest canopy with a large birds nest fern epiphyte attached to a tree

Students explore the functioning of natural systems and the complex interconnections between the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere. Through direct observation and data collection, students investigate how natural processes, cycles, and interactions operate within a local environment and how these systems change over time.
