Students immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Royal National Park through hands-on, sensory-based exploration. Guided by experienced educators, they investigate the needs and characteristics of living things, discovering how plants and animals find food, water, air, and shelter to survive. Through observation, inquiry, and creative activities, students develop curiosity and respect for the living world around them.

10:20 Visit our classroom and learn the secret of PAWS (Plants Animals Water Shelter)
11:30 Recess and toilets
12:00 Participate in sensory awareness activities on a bushwalk along Bungoona Path
1:00 Lunch and toilets
1:30 Build model shelters using natural materials
2:00 Conclusion and depart
