Getting here

A walk down the Honeymoon Track starts near the environmental education centre, which is 1.5km from the Farnell Avenue entry of the Royal National Park, before the descent to the river:

  • turn into Farnell Avenue from the Princes Highway
  • turn left 250m past the toll booth into the car park
  • walk to the EEC (demountable green school buildings) following the signs.

Buses can access the carpark to drop off students.

Bus pick up: Please confirm Reids Flat as the pick up location with your bus driver. Buses can access Reids Flat via a paved road. There is room for multiple buses to park and to turn around.

Accessibility The Honeymoon Track is not accessible. Please contact the centre to discuss options.
Bushwalk The Honeymoon Track descends from the environmental education centre to the Hacking River, in the Audley Valley. The track is 1 km long and descends over 600 steps. There are uneven steps and rocky surfaces. The walk from the bottom of the track to Reids Flat is a further 0.5 km along the edge of a paved access road that leads to Reids Flat.
