About our centre
The Royal National Park Environmental Education Centre is part of the NSW Department of Education. We are situated within the Royal National Park, providing an ideal setting for hands-on, place-based learning. Our qualified and highly experienced Department of Education teachers deliver programs in the field and at schools.
With access to a wide range of unique natural and cultural environments, we offer diverse, curriculum-aligned environmental education programs for students from kindergarten to year 12.
Our aim is to foster in students a deep appreciation of the environment, strengthening their connection to the natural world and supporting the development of responsibility for its future. By engaging students and the community, we hope to inspire better earth citizens who feel empowered to take positive environmental action.
We place strong emphasis on hands-on learning and tailor programs to meet the needs of visiting schools.
Book with us for high-quality excursions and incursions that are engaging, enriching, and aligned with syllabus outcomes.
